Description

Rick Stroud is the author of eight books including Kidnap in Crete: The True Story of the Abduction of a Nazi General, optioned by Ben Grass at Pure Grass Films,  and Lonely Courage: The True Story of the SOE Heroines who Fought to Free Nazi-Occupied France (Simon & Schuster, 2017) which has been optioned by Tessa Ross at House Productions.  He is a trustee of The London Library and lives in London.

Rene Wyndham taught English at the University of Nice, France, before retraining as a journalist at the BBC. She worked first in Radio and then in TV as reporter/presenter/producer. From here she went to ITV to make programmes about Social Affairs, Education, Health and Environment. Next, using her 6 languages, she worked for TV companies in Europe including ARD (Germany), ARTE, and Euronews. Now she runs her own communications company. Currently Rene produces and presents a weekly English programme in the south of France on” Mosaiquefm.fr Esterel Mediterranee.” Radio station. Her interests include walking the south west coastal path, wild swimming, singing with guitar, creating recycled sculptures and travelling.
